	Orthotics: Health and Comfort As the foundation of our bodies, our feet do a miraculous job. Our feet are propulsion packs and shock absorbers. They allow us to run, walk, jump and dance. One quarter of all the bones in your body are in your feet. One of the most complicated parts of the human anatomy, the feet contain 216 ligaments and 32 muscles. They are an engineering wonder. Our feet go from a soft shock absorber to a rigid lever you can walk up and walk off of. Feet come in all shapes and sizes… there is no perfect foot shape. The feet are too often taken for granted until they hurt or don’t function as they used to. Come in for an assessment and learn about your feet.
