Clinical Products

We have a variety of products that assist in treatment, including:

  • custom orthotics
  • ankle bracing
  • orthopedic footwear
  • Strassburg Sock
  • over the counter inserts such as Superfeet, Active Ankle Brace, bunion nights splints toe crest and other silicone products for cushioning and comfort

We don’t make orthotics because we can; we make them because we should. Not everyone needs orthotics. Many foot ailments can benefit with simple over-the-counter devices. This is why a proper assessment by a Certified Pedorthist can be of great help.

I will ensure you understand to the best of my ability what may be going on with your feet, knees, back, hips or ankles. At that point we can decide on the proper approach to dealing with your problems.

We may choose to try a simple product off the shelf, a custom device, new shoes, bracing, custom ankle supports or some exercises. If there has been no success in six weeks time, we’ll try again.

For more information on a number of debilitating foot and leg discomforts, our lab service in Vancouver offers a great resource.

"The comfort level of my new custom orthotics is very nice and after wearing them for a few weeks, my ankle pain is very minimal. They are well worth the money! If I had known what a difference these orthotics would make I would have got them 5 or 10 years ago! I recommend anyone with foot troubles should go see Vince." —Glen Johnson, Nelson

  Orthotics: Health and Comfort

As the foundation of our bodies, our feet do a miraculous job.

Our feet are propulsion packs and shock absorbers. They allow us to run, walk, jump and dance. One quarter of all the bones in your body are in your feet.

One of the most complicated parts of the human anatomy, the feet contain 216 ligaments and 32 muscles. They are an engineering wonder.

Our feet go from a soft shock absorber to a rigid lever you can walk up and walk off of.

Feet come in all shapes and sizes… there is no perfect foot shape.

The feet are too often taken for granted until they hurt or don’t function as they used to.

Come in for an assessment and learn about your feet. Take care of your foundation and your foundation will take care of you!
